Recently, the Stort F&F team took another exciting journey, this time to Bedoukian’s headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut, for an immersive two-day ingredients training. While Stort only began collaborating with Bedoukian in 2022, this family-owned company has been a trailblazer in the F&F world since its founding in 1972 by Dr. Paul Bedoukian, a pioneer in specialty aroma chemicals.

Fast forward 50 years, and Bedoukian remains a powerhouse, now led by third-generation innovators, Dr. Matt and David Bedoukian. They are committed to carrying on their family’s legacy of producing high-impact, specialty ingredients that shape the world of flavours and fragrances.

During the training event, alongside suppliers from China, Brazil, and Europe, we explored a diverse range of Bedoukian’s exceptional ingredients. From sweet strawberry and calming lavender to the autumn favourite Holiday Pumpkin Spice, we even experienced a distinctively woody Patchouli accord.
